Awkward Title

I started up the Duck Slaughter 2 project again. I'm not going to fix up the link for it on my site until it's a little farther along. Right now its just a generic sideview game. Once I get some ducks flying around with guns and gore I'll link pictures and demos. Now that I have an Xbox 360 all my future games will be playable via the 360. Currently that would be through the Creator's Club only but DS2 might be good enough to throw onto the Xbox Live Marketplace, we'll see what happens.

Also, when I reformatted my computer my old XNA games (Zong and Goo Defender) were unplayable. I tried to get some old XNA runtimes but they still aren't working and because they were both hastily created, I didn't do any error logging. Because MS implemented breaking changes in XNA 3.0 and will again in 4.0, I am going to wait until 4.0 comes out to fix these games. However, it should also mean that both of these games will be playable for the 360 and also Windows 7 Phone platforms.

Here's my things to do list:

1. Continue on with DS2
2. Finish TTBSSL. I don't have to make the ending as great as I originally planned, but having this game at 95% for the last 3 years is not ok. This probably means cancelling the final boss fight at the end, I don't know.
3. Post videos of my later games on YouTube and add gameplay footage to the projects page.
4. (When XNA 4.0 is released) Rewrite Zong and Goo Defender to be XNA 4.0 compliant and redeploy on 360 and Windows Phone 7.
5. Finish some other small updates to the site that have been looming for half a decade.
